Who We Are

Winston Transitions SF is a highly-individualized gap year program for students ages 17 to 21+ with learning differences such as dyslexia, nonverbal learning disabilities (NVLD), and executive functioning difficulties (ADHD). Transitions SF provides an extension to the Winston Preparatory School educational experience when appropriate by precisely identifying and matching each student's needs.

Our unique model of education provides intense skill remediation while encouraging students to build independence, resilience, responsibility, self-awareness, and self-advocacy. We deeply understand each student, individualize a program to meet their needs, and continually refine this program based on individual progress, while building a powerful sense of community.
Winston Transitions SF accepts students on rolling basis.

For more information about the program and how to apply, please contact Jeff Beauregard at jbeauregard@winstonprep.edu

Parent

Transitions’ expert scaffolding and strategic feedback have allowed our son to start owning responsibility for his choices and taking on the post-high school world with more confidence and self-reflection. Suddenly, what once seemed overwhelming feels exciting and full of possibility.
