The WPS Learning Support Center (LSC) upholds the WPS mission and method to provide additional academic and social support to both Winston students as well as other students within the NYC boroughs. The program primarily focuses on education for the individual in both one-on-one and small group settings.
Winston Prep School LSC offers academic support, speech and language therapy, and educational assistance for students K-12 and adults. Our goal is to encourage, support, and challenge individuals in courses such as college study skills, social skills development groups, SAT tutoring, and academic support and remediation. Similar to the Winston Prep Focus program, teachers create an individualized assessment based curriculum for each of their students.

Winston Prep students are typically enrolled in social skills classes for middle school students, strategic communication for upper level high school students, articulation therapy, and PSAT/SAT tutoring. Non-WPS students enroll in the offerings mentioned above, as well as college prep courses, speech-language therapy, as well as in academic support sessions.
