A Place To Be Understood–Wherever You Are

As an extension of our successful Distance Learning initiative, Winston Preparatory School has decided to use this experience to springboard a new, fully online community for students with learning differences everywhere. It is important for all children, but especially those who learn differently, to feel understood. Through Winston’s Continuous Feedback System, each child’s learning profile is analyzed and an individualized learning plan is created. Along with a focus on developing the Qualities of Sustainable and Independent Learners (QSIL) , we place a great emphasis on making sure all students feel welcome and are immersed within our culture and community. Now, no matter where you are, Winston’s flexible, individual program is now available online. You don’t have to come to us. Winston Preparatory School will meet you online.

An Individualized Approach

As we do on our physical campuses, after developing a deep understanding of each student, they are grouped together based on similar learning profiles.
All classes include frequent assessment of programs and adaptations to programming based on student response and feedback. Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and student wellness, with a focus on socialization, are crucial components of the Winston Preparatory School community and embedded in all Focus, content, and nonacademic courses.

Winston Preparatory School students have some notable gifts, and our individual approach allows us to explore and develop these gifts. With the launch of our flexible online campus, we aim to reach more students than ever, all of whom deserve an education that meets their individual needs. Winston Preparatory School is a place to be understood wherever you are.

Interactive Instruction
