Summer Program

Stay Engaged Over the Summer!

The Transitions NYC 2023 Summer Program is an extension of the Winston Prep philosophy, principles, and model that takes place during the summer months. It provides students with the unique opportunity to participate in an individually designed program aimed to enhance academic skills and foster independence.
Offered to students 17-21+, the Transitions July Summer Program will be held from June 26th through July 21st. The August program will be held August 1st through August 18th. Classes will be available for one-on-one virtual or in-person Focus style sessions, unless otherwise indicated.

Faculty

Transitions Summer Program teachers primarily consist full-time Transitions faculty members. The high degree of communication amongst our expert staff allows instructors to use the Continuous Feedback System. Regular communication with parents takes place throughout the summer and parents are updated weekly on goals and progress.

  • July Program

    Within the July program, students have the option to be enrolled in one-on-one sessions, meeting for 45-minute or 60-minute sessions either once or twice a week. The setting and extent of programming are subject to change as determined by Winston, utilizing onsite or distance learning platforms. The days and times will be determined by the family and the individual teachers to ensure classes take place at the most appropriate time and day.

    • $600 for 45-minute sessions once per week (4 in total)
    • $1,200 for 45-minute sessions twice per week (8 in total)
    60-Minute Sessions
    • $800 for 60-minute sessions once per week (4 in total)
    • $1,600 for 60-minute sessions twice per week (8 in total)
